Founded in 2018, Burbank, California, is the flagship location and headquarters for Netflix Animation Studios. This site is crucial for project development and houses our front-end artistic, story, and editorial/post departments, serving as a key hub for global studio creativity and logistical support.

Situated in the heart of Southern California’s Animation/Entertainment industry, our Burbank location boasts a new studio space equipped with top-of-the-line technology, resources, and equipment, providing a state-of-the-art environment for creative collaboration.

The surrounding Empire Center area features excellent outdoor shopping, lodging, dining, and a high-tech district, and it is conveniently located adjacent to Burbank’s International Airport.

After nearly a decade as Animal Logic Studios, our Vancouver location has been home to some of the most iconic animated films, spanning both existing IP and original content. Now operating as Netflix Animation Studios Vancouver, our teams continue to create world-class animated films, leveraging cutting-edge technology and tools.

Our production professionals and artists contribute to our feature films in CG pipeline shot departments such as Technology, Animation, Modeling, Surfacing, Rigging, Effects, Character Effects, Crowds, Layout, Lighting, Compositing and more.

Netflix Animation Studios Vancouver is located in Yaletown, close to the bustling downtown area and the vibrant arts precinct. We are building on our commitment to the Creative Technology Sector in BC with a new innovative purpose-built studio, set to open in the near-future! The new state-of-the-art creative space is a part of the Main Alley campus located in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood and aims to promote the Vancouver creative economy while achieving a net-zero carbon lifecycle.

Our Sydney location builds on over three decades of award-winning design, visual effects, and animation experience from former Animal Logic Studios. This team brings expertise in CG shot based departments such as: Technology, Animation, Modeling, Surfacing, Rigging, Effects, Character Effects, Crowds, Layout, Lighting, Compositing and more.

Our Sydney studio champions top Australian and international talent and provides opportunities to contribute to ground-breaking animated content that pushes the boundaries of visual storytelling and helps shape a new wave of feature animation.

Located at Moore Park, within the largest integrated entertainment facility in the southern hemisphere, NAS Sydney is a fixture of Australia’s creative community and only fifteen minutes from Bondi Beach and Sydney’s Central Business District.
